“Pain is temporary. It may last a minute, or an hour, or a day, or a year but eventually it will subside and something else will take it’s place. If I quit, however, it will last forever. “
~ Lance Armstrong
The past ten years taught me more than I thought possible, it’s a time I look back on without regret but it’s also a time I never want to relive. In this season I discovered God in radical ways, have been married twice, found love to be on point and insanely passionate the second time around, discovered the coffee press is the only way to drink coffee, ran a marathon, had two children and am now pregnant with the final, found that I enjoy a good Cabernet over a Merlot, I like my martinis on the rocks with salt, I don’t like to talk in the morning, I enjoy being a mom more than I ever thought I would and now I can not imagine not being a mom, I’m a social introvert often mistaken for an extrovert, I love the beach but I’m scared of the ocean, I love to write, I wish I knew more about my digital camera, I take thousands of pictures, and I’m a runner constantly looking for the next trail to blaze, goal to set, and challenge to beat.
Drop me a line and say hey if you’re new and if you’re an old friend, shout out and send hugs.
Cheers,
MaiĀ
